MOSCOW, Mar 27 (PRIME) -- Russian car producer AvtoVAZ will suspend car assembly from March 30 through April 3, announced by President Vladimir Putin as a week off to fight the spread of coronavirus, a representative of the company told PRIME on Friday.
“AvtoVAZ will strictly comply with the new recommendations to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The company will have a week off from March 30 through April 3,” the representative said, adding that only employees responsible for vital functions of the facilities and infrastructure will continue to work.
